OUR AREAS OF EXPERTISE
We specialise in the areas that are of critical importance to Small Island Developing States and other developing countries. Our mission is to help developing countries use their indigenous resources effectively and leverage support from development partners to achieve sustainable levels of development.
We provide support in climate change negotiations, national capacity building, integration of climate change actions and obligations into domestic policy and law, and project development for funding for mitigation and adaptation activities.
We assist in the formulation of appropriate policies and strategies for a transition away from the use of fossil fuels. We can provide support in all elements of the energy equation: legislation, regulation, private sector participation, renewable energy integration, energy efficiency and energy use in the transport sector.
We assist in the articulation of policies that address development challenges that are peculiar to Small Island Developing States. Specifically, we can help countries take advantage of the opportunities provided by the SAMOA Pathway, the 2030 Development Agenda and the Paris Agreement in leveraging support for national and regional development.

We help to develop policies and action plans that allow governments and organisations in developing countries to use ICTs to transform their economies, stimulate digital entrepreneurship and broaden learning and networking opportunities for their citizens.
We provide support in the establishment of the appropriate national policies, domestic mechanisms and networks to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and in setting up the necessary monitoring systems to assess progress towards the SDGs.
